This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
The specific items I am requesting will make a difference in the way my students begin the school year. With these items, they will have a prepared start and a more organized and readily prepared learning environment.
This goal will help the students to learn how to organizing and sort different types of papers that have been sent home for their parents to sign.
When parents return these papers in the students folders the children will lead by example on how to sort and put papers in the correct places with the teachers assistant.
The sticky notes, hanging folders, highligters, and pens will help me as a teacher and other teachers to become more organzie when setting up the environment so that learning the supplies will be on hand when needed. It help the teachers keep files separated and become more organized.
