My students need a large magnetic whiteboard, where I can write examples as I teach, and a magnetized whiteboard is especially helpful, because I can use magnetic tools such as letters, numbers, and pictures!
My students are eager learners at the beginning of their schooling! They work hard every day to learn, grow and strengthen their new skills! Many are new to the country, so the ability to see, hear and touch what they are learning about is so important!
Reading, writing, math and so much more: These are the skills my students sharpen everyday through hard work and fun, of course!
A glimpse into my classroom will show the many strengths of the school, such as the diverse student body, the grit of the students and the successful futures they are working towards! Building their skills is the key to success!
My Project
My students and I can learn interactively as I model what I am teaching using the board, especially when I can use magnetic letters, numbers and pictures! In addition, they can participate in a lesson by volunteering to come up to show what they know on the board! Finally, this will make them more independent learners, because I can record tools for them to use, such as sentence frames and word banks for when they are writing. This whiteboard will be a focus wall for our learning! I am confident that this tool can greatly enhance our learning space this year.
