My Students

My bilingual kindergarten classroom is a vibrant learning environment in which my students are encouraged to take risks.

They explore and learn both independently and collaboratively. With an entire class full of English Language Learners, language development and vocabulary building play a major role in our daily activities. I am constantly providing oral and visual input to ensure my students grow and have positive learning experiences. You can help me provide this imperative aspect of learning for my class!

My Project

My school had the extraordinary opportunity to receive a grant for iPads for every student! This is such an incredible learning experience for our young learners. However, the primary grades have hit a small roadblock. My students love to read independently on their iPad or play learning games, but the earbuds we received with the iPads are too big for their ears! As you can imagine, without any headphones, it can get awfully loud when 24 students are using an iPad with sound. With headphones that fit them appropriately, my students can read independently without constantly fidgeting with earbuds that don't fit in their ears! With your help, my students' level of excitement for learning will increase! They are super interested in using their iPads as learning tools; by customizing their experience for their little ears, they will become that much more invested. Help us use these incredible tools to their fullest potential!
