My Students

As a pre-school teacher of special needs students, I am aware of the struggles my children and families face every day. These children come to school every day ready to learn all they can.

I believe in my children and feel they may be successful at becoming whatever they may choose in life.

They are loving, caring and highly motivated children who want desperately to learn all they can. They take great pride in their school, themselves and one another. They need and want your help.

My Project

Have you ever been outside and saw what you thought was a REALLY cool bug or caterpillar. Well, if you have, then you will know how is exciting it is to see these wonderful little creatures in the environment.

My students need the items requested to help to develop their inquiring minds and curiosity.

By providing items like GEOSAFARI JR. BUGNOCULARS, GIDDY BUGGY CULTIVATOR and GIDDY BUGGY TROWEL, students will go on"Bug" searches and observe them in their natural habitats outside. They will then be able to bring them back to the classroom where they will be able to use the My First Microscope to look at them closer. Students will learn why bugs are important to the environment. Through exploration and observation, many children may realize that bugs aren’t something to run from or be scared of.
