Help me give my students a space that is dedicated to creating a Mental Health Corner at our school, offering students a safe and calming space to rest, reflect, and develop essential social-emotional skills.

My Project

At our school, we are committed to fostering an environment where every student has the opportunity to grow emotionally and academically. As part of this mission, we are excited to introduce a new initiative to support our students' well-being—a Mental Health Corner. This dedicated space will provide a quiet, nurturing environment where students can take a break, engage in self-reflection, and access tools that help them manage the stresses they encounter in their daily lives.

The Mental Health Corner will be equipped with comfortable seating, calming sensory items, and resources like journals, coloring books, and emotional regulation tools.

These items will allow students to explore healthy coping strategies and develop the social-emotional skills essential for their overall success. We believe that providing this space will not only help students in moments of immediate need but will also equip them with lifelong tools for managing their emotions.

We are reaching out to our Donors Choose community for support in making this vision a reality. Your donations will directly contribute to creating a safe and welcoming place for students to rest and recharge. With your generosity, we can provide the resources needed to help our students navigate the challenges they face, ensuring they have the emotional support necessary to thrive both in school and beyond.
