My students need to capture professional quality photography, and to do that they need professional tools. DSLR cameras will ensure they get the clarity they need for front-page worthy images. The composition is up to them!

My Students

The students who make Paw Print have worked very hard to start up the school's first print publication, and have been working on improving the quality of their own work and the work of the newspaper's growing staff.

"Our words, your voice" - that's the slogan of their newspaper.

It showcases their desire to take the concerns of the students at our school and bring them to the attention of the student body, the faculty, the administration and the community. The newspaper as a vehicle for free expression has always been the priority for the Paw Print staff.

Paw Print has always been completely funded by the student-initiated fundraising and advertising sales. They even purchased their first cameras though funds earned in journalism competitions.

My Project

In the past three years, the staff of Paw Print has earned admirable accolades for the quality of their writing, but this year, we'd like to focus more on photojournalism.

Our photography in the past has been a little flat.

We'd like to not only make our photos more dynamic, but bring more of our content into the digital age by starting an online publication with our yearbook and broadcast teams.

Online media, of course, demands less writing and more digital imagery and graphics, so we'll need the right tools! Your generous donation, even just a few dollars, could help us bring our goal into view.
