This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Auto darkening welding helmets are indeed a game-changer in the welding industry. They make welding easier and safer by automatically adjusting the shade of the lens to protect the welder's eyes from the intense light produced during welding. They eliminate the need for manual adjustments, allowing welders to focus more on their work and less on their equipment. Local disasters can disrupt student learning through missed instructional time, psychological distress, and displacement, but welding helmets can advance their learning by providing safety and ease of use, ensuring students can focus on mastering welding skills without safety concerns or distractions. My goals for this project is to make sure every student have a welding helmet.

My students are special because they possess a unique blend of technical skill, creativity, and precision, allowing them to create functional and artistic metalwork that leaves a lasting impact.
