My Students

I am a new teacher, entering the world as a Learning Specialist. The students I work with are diverse, bright and eager to learn! We will be working together outside of their classrooms in my office/workspace.

These students are considered "at risk" and need extra support in academic areas as well as behavior/emotional management.

My Project

The items on my wish list will make a positive impact on my students' learning by giving them a welcoming and engaging place to learn. Yoga balls and wiggle stools will allow students to have a choice about their seat and help make them feel important, valued and heard.

Students in my classroom come from a variety of backgrounds and learning abilities/styles, I want to make sure each student feels safe, comfortable and like the matter in my room.

The items I've selected for my classroom will help brighten up the dull walls and positively motivate my students while we learn and grow together.
