My Students

As a teacher and coach of a high economically disadvantaged county school system, my students are overcoming many obstacles and achieving success. Our school 90% graduation rate as well as a 21 composite ACT score. I want to show my students that with hard work and dedication he or she can obtain large goals and overcome obstacles to be successful in life.

Our football team is under new leadership, and we are trying to show them how much we care and how much we want them to succeed.

By supporting and loving on our kids and building relationships, they have begun to work really had on and off the field.

My Project

In building a football program, success begins in the weight room. Our players need to be able to have multiple types of weight lifting exercises. Currently, our student athletes can only do core lifts within racks because our flooring does not allow for agility work or ab building routines. The carpet flooring is musty, torn, and worn out. Our school system is not able to help pay for renovations and upgrades to our facilities. Therefore, our small football budget has to front the bill.

We need new flooring in our weight room to improve our capability and safety in workouts.

By donating to our project, you not only will help use improve in strength and exercise capability, you will ultimately allow us to take pride in our new addition. By showing our kids they are cared for, we can continue to instill in them our goals of making kids work hard and achieve success.
