My Students

My students come from hardworking families with good hearts and great community spirit. Our district is diverse. We have students who live on farms in rural sections and students who live in urban sections of the district sharing the same classes, meals, and sporting events. When one person succeeds, everyone is rewarded.

There is a palpable feeling of pride and a common goal to increase opportunity and support meaningful change locally and beyond.

The community revolves around four schools. There are two elementary, one middle, and one high school, which educate our children’s minds, nurture their spirits, provide numerous extracurricular events and activities, and encourage their love of learning in every way possible.

My Project

Students are keeping up the good work wearing their masks and sanitizing their desks after every class. They know they need to do this. Now that the cold weather is here in New York, all of this adds to the dry skin the season brings.

Students would really benefit by having their own personal hand sanitizers, hand creams, and lip balms.

These small "luxuries" will be given to students who aren't able to buy their own. These items will definitely be appreciated!
