Help me give my students the educational insights sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic rock collections, magnifying glasses, and storage boxes to organize everything.
My students are energetic, eager learners. Many of them come from low-income households. The students in my class are seven and eight years old. For many of them, the classroom is where they have opportunities to experience many new things. We work and learn together so each student can be successful. The students are curious, excited, energetic, and eager to learn. They learn best when engaged in active learning through hands-on materials. We, as a class, have a common goal to learn and have as much fun as we can while doing it.
My students have a natural curiosity and love to explore the world around them.
They are fun-loving students who deserve the best opportunities that I can provide them.
My Project
Earth science will come to life as first graders study rocks. The Educational Insights igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary rock kits will allow students to view real samples as we use the magnifying glasses to observe and discuss the rock types and examine the characteristics of each.
Excitement, and hands-on exploration will fill our room as students become junior geologists.
Young people have a natural curiosity to explore the world around them. Vocabulary will become real as we compare and contrast these rocks. We will describe the color, size, and texture as we try to determine a rock's origin and history.
