My students need a class set of 'In Cold Blood' by Truman Capote.

My Students

Do you remember what it was like the first time you read the book that you couldn't put down? My students have not yet discovered books that captured their attention, which is why I want to introduce them to my favorite novel, "In Cold Blood."

My students are seniors in high school.

Most of my students claim that they do not like to read, because reading is boring. I want to convince them that books are interesting and for that I would like to use the America classic, marvelously written, "In Cold Blood."

My Project

The book by Truman Capote is excellent for teaching a non-fiction novel. Students will discover the horrific incident that happened in Kansas and will discuss whether the penalty given to the two criminals was just or should capital punishment be banned.

I really believe that with your help I will manage to convince my students that reading is interesting and fun.

This story will inspire students to read more and write about significant topics, such as death penalty.
