My Project

For the second year in a row, my fifth grade students want to become entrepreneurs. Last year's program was a huge success thanks to donors like you. After multiple sales during the school year, such as the Black History Program and STEM Night, we were able to donate to the Cleveland Foodbank to help those in need (the kids choice of a charity).

In honor of Black History Month, the students will become proprietors of Black Owned Businesses!

The students will create a business plan and sell their products at school events. They will learn about creating a business plan through reading, watching videos and a field trip. Some of the students struggle with reading, so having the option to listen to text and videos is very helpful. They have the ideas, they have the motivation and energy, all they need are the supplies. They will be designing water bottles, jewelry, keychains and other items. After the sales, they will decide which charity to support with their profits. The excitement at school is real, please help if you can.
