My students amaze me each and everyday! This kindergarten classroom is filled with students speaking a variety of languages, and come from all kinds of backgrounds. Some students are here as refugees from another country, some are currently living in homeless shelters with their families, while others live in apartments with several families.
Despite their circumstances they come to school each day ready to learn with a smile on their face!
My students work hard each and every day in order to get ready for first grade. Each student has similar but different goals to achieve each day and everyone is making progress toward their goal. I want all my students to be proud of their accomplishments no matter how small.
My Project
My students need physical and team building toys such as Tumble Triumph, Band Walkers and Stride-R for outdoor play. The warmer weather is finally coming and the snow is finally going away. My students need activities they can do together while on the playground. The activities will help the children work together to achieve a common goal. A big problem at this young age is that children get frustrated with one another and have a difficult time sharing. These activities will help to facilitate discussion between students, and work toward them being able to share with one another. I am hoping that these activities will be fun and exciting but also help students work together instead of arguing with one another.
