My students are wonderful children, eager to learn a new language, Spanish. At the moment, they are beginning to read and speak in Spanish, which has them very excited. Unfortunately, sometimes trying to bring different strategies and new learning methods is a bit difficult since we do not have all the materials we need. This situation limits their learning and, in many cases, demotivation because our materials are not complete or we do not have them available. We would love to have all these materials to be able to expose our students to different educational strategies and support the different types of learning.
Our school belongs to the District of Columbia and is located in an area where most of the students are not native Spanish speakers, and this is why our classroom needs materials that will attract their curiosity, motivate them, and help them learn the language in an easier way.
How wonderful it is to see children so interested in learning a second language.
Our children deserve to have the opportunity to learn using a variety of materials that are consistent with the time in which they live: tablets and compelling materials that arouse curiosity will help them learn in a fun and exciting way. Using tablets and different materials, our children will have access to various books, apps, and educational games that will help them learn Spanish.
The best way to increase their knowledge is when they practice more, and these materials will help my students grow stronger.
My students love to learn, and this project will help enrich their experiences and have the opportunity to practice more Spanish.
