We Want to Be Healthy to Go to School Everyday!

My Students

While all of my students live in the same neighborhood, their backgrounds, home language and cultures vary greatly. There are students with special needs, ELL needs, behaviorial needs, and emotional needs. I set high expectations for all of my students and strive to give them quality experiences that they may not otherwise receive. Hands-on experiences are crucial for my students to deeply learn within the classroom.

My students are all excited to learn in fun, engaging, student-centered ways.

My classroom is dedicated to not only teaching my students academics (letters, numbers, colors, shapes) but also incorporating social and life skills (solving disagreements calmly, taking turns, sharing their thinking with others, including others no matter their differences).

My students are hard workers who love to learn about everything using a growth mindset. They add the word "yet" to the end of their sentences when they are faced with a road block. They always embrace the challenge that they need to try hard things in order to make their brains grow.

My Project

The Clorox wipes will help to keep cold and flu germs out of the classroom so that we can miss as little school as possible. I know that my students need to be in school every day to have the best chance at being successful and ready for first grade. I clean every table in the classroom at least twice a day to try to make the classroom a safe and healthy place for everyone.

In kindergarten we are taught to share everything, but we don't want to share our germs!

Kleenex and hand sanitizer will help us to keep germs away so that we can go to school to learn, play, and have fun together.
