My Project

My students not only enjoy to read, but they really do enjoy graphic novels! They are able to connect with the characters in the graphic novels because the pictures come to life for them. Having graphic novels in the classroom not only enriches their interests but it expands their vocabulary and comprehension skills.

More graphic novels in the classroom means better test scores, a greater love for reading, and a greater want to learn!

This project truly has a special place in my heart as I believe books are a catalyst for education. A book is a powerful weapon no matter the form or genre. Instilling a love for books early is what I desire to do as a third grade teacher! Please join in and support me in this feat!
