My Students

My diverse group of kindergarten students came into my classroom at a variety of different ability levels. They are full of energy and an eagerness to explore new skills and concepts. In order to differentiate my instruction and bridge the gap between ability levels to meet the needs of all learners, my classroom has become incredibly tech savvy during center time. They never cease to amaze me with what they can do, given the appropriate and supplemental materials to investigate the world around them.

My Project

My students LOVE to hear any story by Mo Willems, but they don't often get to read or look at them for themselves. Providing copies of each of his books in our classroom will give students the chance to look at and read books that they love.

Kids and adults everywhere love Mo Willems books because they are fun, engaging, and great for practicing fluency!

Students will learn how to recognize character feelings, read with expression, recognize sight words, and develop a love of reading through each of Mo's wonderful stories. Please help get my students "mo'" excited about reading with Mo Willems!
