My Project
My students are working hard every day to gain early numeracy skills so that they can catch up to grade level peers and access the grade level curriculum. Four times a week I meet with students to practice lagging math skills.
We would love some fun, engaging read aloud and counting books to make practicing our numeracy skills fun!
Our current intervention curriculum does not provide any stories, and my multilingual students could really benefit from picture books that not only help reinforce concepts about numbers, but also vocabulary for shapes, colors, animals, and other every day vocabulary.
