Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are mostly from the Columbia Heights neighborhood of DC, although some kids commute farther across the city to attend our bilingual middle school program. They are intellectually curious scholars budding into future leaders in the quest for social justice.

They are compassionate and full of energy and just as thrilled as I am to be back in the school building after a year of virtual learning.

My Project

We will use this interactive white board to teach every single day. It will make lessons more exciting, engaging, and motivate students to get creative with math problem solving. There are so many online tools that can be shared and displayed visually using the internet, computer tools, and drawing to improve the quality of math instruction for all our middle school math students!

Every lesson will be made more clear using this visual resource.

We will reach all of our diverse students and different learning styles better with this added tool!
