Technology is something that all students should be exposed to. Unfortunately our school is one that does not have a computer lab that works. My students are eager to learn, and comprehend new concepts. But not having access to technology limits them to other students that do have this capability. We are a high need rural community.

My students love to act out the story characters in their stories. Having a huge percentage of English language learners this is good for them. Helps them comprehend and summarize the story. If I or other students can tape themselves making other endings or just summarizing stories and showing it to all the students this will again help with their comprehension of the stories that they will be tested on and it will be fun for them!

My class needs a Video camcorder. This will help my students feel like actors as they retell and act their story characters.

Please help us obtain this camcorder for my students. You will help my students work on their reading comprehension as well as having fun with it!!
