Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My young students love hands-on learning and experimenting! We use play-based learning to explore science, art, math, engineering, and technology. Research shows that communication skills are enhanced through play, and students learn best when they can engage in play-based activities throughout the day. Centers based on play-based learning teach students essential problem-solving, thinking, negotiating, social, emotional, fine, and gross motor skills. As well as builds creativity and curiosity about the world around them.

My students will use the buckets, bubbles, and balls during our Force and motion unit to understand gravity, inertia, and centrifugal force. The glow necklaces and candy will be used as part of our PBIS celebration.
