We Need Whiteboards

Help me give my students whiteboards to help them complete their classroom assignments.

My Project

Please help replace the old beat up, difficult to erase whiteboards in our classroom.

Whiteboards are the most used tool in our room!

Students love using them to work out their math problems. (I teach math and science). For some reason writing with a marker on the whiteboard seems easier than using a pencil on a piece of paper.

This week we have been learning how to compare and order fractions and mixed numbers. Students draw a benchmark fraction number line on the whiteboard and decide if the fraction is less than or greater than half. Then they compare the fractions using a "ladder" strategy. All of this work is shown on their whiteboards.
