They were each given two, one for math and the other science. We're just getting started!\r\n\r\nOur science notebooks have notes about force, motion, and energy. This is one of their favorite unit! We just had a paper plane throwing contest and one student threw his plane 19 Meters! They really do help us keep our work organized. Students use this folders to store their incomplete math and science classwork. The folders also hold their science and math notebooks which contain all of their class notes. \r\n\r\nBeing organized is half the battle in the classroom. When the teacher is organized and the students are organized, the day just runs a whole lot smoother. Students aren't searching their desks for incomplete work, they know exactly where it is. Actually, to help with organization, I don't allow students to use the desks at all. All papers are in their folders which then go into a bin. This app is built around their current reading levels and allows for reading growth throughout the year. \r\nThe colored pencils are used to create notes in their science and social studies journals.
