The stools will be used to help keep students actively engaged. "A class with high levels of participation becomes a learning machine." Vicki Davis, classroom teacher. Sometimes it can be something as small as a different seat that can engage and excited students. The dry erase board will provide me with the opportunity to model using the dry erase board for reading groups and math. This will give students a better visual of written information. The board has a dual function being magnetic and will allow me to use for different sorts, again with better visual access. The tabletop caddy will help to keep students materials organized while working at my table. Sight words are part of the foundation for reading. We work on this in small group daily, but I would like to provide students with the opportunity to work independently for review. Thank you for taking the time to read about my project!
