Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, compassionate, and motivated. In our room, students benefit from the diverse abilities, interests, and needs of their classmates. We strive to better ourselves every day and work hard to ensure that we are positive examples for our community.

The majority of my class is performing well below grade level in math and reading.

While grade level content is challenging for them, I love their enthusiasm for learning and their motivation and eagerness to want to improve.

Our school has a beautiful community made of students from around the city. We embrace and celebrate our students and their accomplishments.

My Project

After the first of the year, my supply of classroom materials starts to become sparse, with your help, I would be able to provide my students with pencils and a new Expo markers for their whiteboards. The card stock paper would come in handy in making bulletin board letters on my Cricut machine. In addition to that, I will be able to make other items for the classroom and then laminate them with the laminating paper. The card stock can also be used to create labels, posters, or signs for the classroom.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
