Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
Most of my 30 students live in low-income housing or multi-generation homes. They are so happy to be in school and no longer learning from home.
This class is energetic and social.
With exclusions for COVID exposures, we spend a lot of time online using district apps. In class, we spend a lot of time in small groups.
My Project
Our students earn Class Whinny Bucks for engagement with Math and ELA apps, behavior in special classes, personal responsibility, and prizes for various Bingo games in style. We give out Whinnies liberally to keep excitement and engagement high.
Students need exciting things to purchase with their hard-earned Bucks!
I've been supplying prizes from various donations and great deals I find for years. This year, the students are highly motivated to earn those Whinnies, and I need something more exciting for them to spend.
I'm currently selling books for 5 Whinnies a piece, and it's a spending frenzy! Some students have saved up over 100 Whinnies, though more are being earned every week. These exciting big tickets and a greater variety of items will be great.
