This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The materials we are requesting will make a huge difference in their learning. We are asking for 30 red cheer pom poms for our middle school cheerleaders. These pom poms will help the students learn the choreography and techniques necessary to be successful cheerleaders. The pom poms will also help the students develop coordination, balance, and strength.
The lessons we will teach with the pom poms will help the students learn the basics of cheerleading.
We will teach them how to perform jumps, stunts, and cheers. We will also teach them the importance of teamwork and how to work together as a team. The students will also learn the importance of safety and how to properly execute stunts and cheers.
