We Need Good Books Part 2

Help me give my students books that they actually want to read that are not assigned in a classroom. Books that are representative of who we are as a club and school.

My Project

The books that are requested are books that are challenging to students. They talk about topics that students want to read about. Especially themes such as LGBTQIA+ themes, books about race, and books about horror and mythology. This isn't your grandma's book club.

Books and literacy are the way into exciting and lucrative careers.

Reading about what students want to read about will lead them to happier lives and a lifelong love of reading. They find support in books and they see themselves there too.

I believe in giving students the freedom to read anything they want.
