Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I'd like to give my students more choices when selecting a book to read.

It is important that students not only see themselves reflected in books, but that books provide the context in which students can compare different human emotions, experiences, and points of view.

By funding this project, our classroom library will have more diverse books.

Ideally, diverse books also create accessibility - to different worlds and ideas - for all students. Please help me by increasing student choice in the classroom when it comes to choosing literature at school.
