My Students

I teach in an urban district to students who participate in a free breakfast and lunch program. Many of my students come from single-parent homes and have a difficult time just bringing in school supplies. Many of these students have to help take care of their siblings both before and after school while their parent is working or attending school.

My students are from a variety of backgrounds and have various learning styles.

My classroom is made up of both regular and special education students. They often come into school eager to learn, and they love to use technology.

Many of my students read below grade level. They would benefit from a variety of classroom resources to help increase their success in school. I want my students to be informed citizens and be able to have the use of technology in the classroom on a daily basis. I want my students to have technology experiences that help foster 21st-century critical thinkers.

My Project

My classroom is full this year with kids returning to the classroom from hybrid and remote learning last year. We are busting at the seams in our 4th grade classroom and my students need a bit of privacy during the day with their classwork. This basic supply will make things run a bit more smoothly each day giving students their own personal space.

My students need these basic Corrugated Plastic Study Carrels to place around their computers and notebooks every day and during high stakes district and Ohio State Testing in both winter and spring.

We use every inch of our classroom for learning. I have both desks and tables this year and sometimes spacing is an issue. These study carrels will give my students a bit of privacy during the day with their classwork.

These are pretty basic but will do the trick. Please help give my students a bit of personal space to learn.
