My Students

As a teacher in a very diverse, low-income school district, I see that my students have to face several challenges, both in and out of the classroom. Despite these challenges, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.

My students are very hands-on, creative and they love reading.

We serve a very diverse population. It is inspiring to see them growing and learning in the same community. My students are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners. They are mini-inspirations to themselves and others around them, even if they don't know it yet. They are budding ambassadors, world travelers, scientists, entrepreneurs, and teachers. They are our future and I want to give them a great start to their long, successful careers.

My Project

My students are awesome and they love to learn. Due to COVID-19 we had to move our caring, supportive and fun classroom into an eLearning classroom. My students need to continue learning from home and most of them do not have technology at home. I do not even want to imagine how frustrated they are going to be without learning new things every day.

These Chromebooks will give them access to Microsoft Teams and the resources and assignments that we have put together for them.
