Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are motivated and enthusiastic learners. Our school is a Title I school with very high poverty. Our entire school receives free breakfast and lunch. Although they are surrounded by poverty, they eagerly come to school and work very hard. They know that through education they will better their lives.

My students are great kids who are ready to work hard and enjoy learning.

With limited tools in technology, I am requesting an iPad because I know it will help them be more successful. With an iPad, students can use it to do research, watch videos, take notes, write papers, store data, etc. Working collaboratively with the device, they will tackle working in groups, and learning how to problem-solve. It would help them so much in being able to enhance their learning.

Please help my students continue to love reading and writing!
