We Need A New Place To Sit

Help me give my students a new table for small groups, a new rug for whole group and slant boards for flexible seating.

My Project

This year our school changed our reading block. Our school implemented a new program involving students who need Title I services. Our Title I teachers now come to the room daily for groups. During this time, I am also working with an intervention group.

We do not have furniture to accommodate the teachers and students during this time.

Our Title I teacher is currently working with three desks pushed together. The students do not have room to work in such a small space.

Our rug is where we do all of our whole group work in class. My students would love a new, bright rug to sit on during whole group time.

We would love to start the new school year being able to to sit at tables or our own workspaces.
