As we learn about birds and nature, our students will paint birdhouses while exploring real birds and the fictional story Odd Bird, which teaches an important lesson about kindness and accepting others despite our differences. We are also learning about how things grow and will soon be planting in our classroom garden. The students will paint rocks to add to our garden, giving them another hands-on way to express their creativity while learning about plants and nature.
