This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students love art class and are invested in all of their projects. We need a drying rack for their artwork. There is very limited space in our art room and I teach five classes in there each day. A drying rack allows multiple projects to be stored safely while drying, saving space and keeping surfaces clear for other activities.
Most times I let that artworks dry on the floor in the back of the room, which isn’t safe for the children or the artwork.
Drying racks help keep projects organized, when multiple classes are working on pieces simultaneously. It prevents clutter and confusion, ensuring that artwork remains undisturbed.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
