This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Learning to read is the most important part of early childhood. The look of excitement and amazement when it all starts to click is the most satisfying part of being a teacher. Each year, as teachers we try to learn more and give more to our students so we can make them life long readers.

Decodable texts and phonics based instruction is just what is needed to bring reading to life for my students.

These new materials and the activities will most certainly help target the needs of all my students.
