This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I am blessed to be teaching the sweetest group of first graders. They love school and learning all about new things. Our school is a Title I school where most of my students live in homes with grandparents and single-parent families. They deserve the very best education.
My students are motivated and eager to do their best.
They work hard, and their excitement in all that they do in the classroom is a joy to watch. I am so proud of them and all that they have accomplished so far this year. I want them to have everything they need to learn and excel to be ready for second grade.
My Project
This project contains many different books for my students to love. There are a variety of books ranging in subjects from math to science to reading. I've also included several books with fairy tale or fables that will come in perfectly with our fairy tale and fables unit.
These materials have many different books with a variety of topics that will interest and engage even my reluctant readers.
These stories will be interesting and fun reads for my students during both interactive read aloud time and during their individual reading times. My kids love reading different books on a variety of topics and will love to have these stories added to our collection. We also need storage boxes for our classroom to help keep things organized.
