My Students
My inner-city school has a very diverse population. We have students from a variety of economic backgrounds and cultures. Some students come to us fully prepared for learning and others come hungry, tired, and discouraged. Regardless of addresses, all students deserve the best start at life.
My students are eager to learn, curious, and energetic.
They are happy to arrive to school each day and enjoy learning. They give my life so much joy and laughter and it is my goal to give them my best every day! I want to need their needs academically, and wish to provide as many resources as possible to give them the best classroom environment.
My Project
Our reading center has lots of books, but no where to sit. I would love to have a variety of seating options, and these Floor Seats and Wobble Cushions are perfect.
The Wobble Cushions will be a hit because they allow students to wiggle around while they read.
I think students will love the Floor Seats and the added back support they provide.
Both of these choices are affordable, easy to move around, and easy to store. Both seating options will be multi purpose. They are primarily for our reading station, however they may be used at other times of the day as flexible seating options. The Wobble Cushions can stay on the floor, or in a regular classroom chair. They will make a great addition to the classroom.
