I love my school and our community! We are an inner city school in a Title I system. Our students come from varied backgrounds. Almost half of our population is economically disadvantaged. We do not want ANY students do be at a disadvantage in the classroom. It is our goal to to make sure all of our students are successful and have everything they need, whether that is a hot meal or new learning tools. All students deserve an equal chance at a quality education. I have a wonderful group of 19 first graders this year. They are eager to learn, inquisitive, and hard working. They greet me each morning with a smile, and get right to the business of learning. They make me want to be a better teacher. That goal of getting better is always on my mind, and I frequently see needs in my classroom. With your help, I would like to continue to build a collection of tools to help my students grow.
