My students need a Cue Stem coding robot, Dash and Dot challenge cards and a sketch kit to help them learn and practice how to code and program through hands on opportunities.
In my classroom, students are challenged to work together, find creative solutions to problems and learn to their individual potential. I like to use technology in a variety of ways across the curriculum to enhance student's understanding and engagement during lessons. My students will continue to be encouraged to broaden their understanding and showcase their unique abilities.

My Project
The students in my class absolutely love learning how to code and program robots. Combined with Project Based Learning opportunities, they have been able to program the Dash and Dot robots in real world situations. By using the Dash and Dot robot and its accessories, students can work together to build, create and solve challenges. Last year, they designed a security system inspired by Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Currently my classroom has one Dash and one Dot robot which limits the number of students that can work with the robots at a time. By adding the CUE STEM robot, students will have the opportunity to do additional coding and programing. The challenge cards will enable students to gradually build their skills as they perform increasingly complex tasks. With the sketch kit, students can perform coding tasks that will help them better understand engineering concepts and further their interest in related fields. The robots can be used across subject areas to bring a fun and innovative focus to learning.
