Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our second grade class loves to play with Magna-tiles. When my students build with Magna-tiles, they are not only learning academic skills such as shapes, numbers, magnetic principles, patterns, etc., but they are also engaging in problem solving, visual and spatial development, fine motor skills and building confidence.

By having story themed tiles, we can expand the use of Magna-tiles across even more subject areas like literature, social studies and science.

My students don't even realize how much they are actually learning since they are having so much fun. My students who struggle with sensory issues are also drawn to Magna-tiles and how they can manipulative and experiment with the magnets, colors and shapes.

We would love to have these Magna-tiles to use in our classroom.
