This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My young students all receive a free breakfast and lunch. Many are second language learners. These Scholastic magazines are a wonderful addition to our classroom curriculum and the children love to have a magazine they can take home.

These magazines cover a variety of science and social studies standards through the year.

They are printed and designed to attract the attention of my young students. With these magazines I can teach book handling skills, math skills, reading skill, as well as the science and social studies standards they cover. The online features are a wonderful resource as well. The students just love to watch the videos and play the learning games.
