Celebrating Black History Month

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students from Pre-K are awesome. This is our third year as an immersion program. Students are not only learning English, but they are learning Spanish. My students definitely love hands-on activities, experiments and projects. My students love to be artists by expressing themselves by doing artwork. I love to see them happy, learning, enjoying and interacting in our daily learning. As a dual-language program, we love diversity, we love to talk about different cultures and languages that are all around the world. My students are so excited to learn and do different activities every day in our classroom.

My Project

My students would love to have these books in our reading center.

I have a couple of read-aloud books in the reading area, but with these materials, I will have a variety of different ones to read every day.

My students will be so excited to have new books to read. Their vocabulary and easing interest would develop even more as well. Please help me give my students the tools they need to be ready for Kindergarten next school year. They would be able to use them in the reading center as well.
