Many students in my classroom will be walking into middle school without having been in a physical classroom for almost two years! I know they are eager to read, write, and grow an in-person classroom community once again and I cannot wait to meet them with open arms.
The students at my school are a diverse set of learners who are curious, engaged, empathetic, and creative!
They bring a joy for reading and writing that is contagious; all of the resources here will build upon their natural love for learning to support their growth and passion as they reenter the classroom!
My Project
Graphic novels are flying off of our classroom library shelves and we need more!
This year, my students have developed such a strong love for independent reading- they cheer when we have choice reading days!
Many of my students, especially those who previously struggled to love reading, have especially loved graphic novels. That said, they have finished many of the books we have in our library and are eager to read more. Your donation will help us build upon students' love for reading and help them continue to stay engaged in building a vibrant independent reading life.
