My Project

Donating to help young children learn foundational skills and encouraging their love for Math is an amazing gift to give! Learning math skills helps build confidence, gives students ways to be creative and helps them use higher level thinking skills for years to come.

Foundational Math skills in Pre-K are fostered through hands-on learning with many different types of materials and manipulatives.

Using these hands-on materials lets children explore through play while learning things such as naming numbers, rote counting, one-to-one correspondence, etc. These materials will be used in a variety of ways, in whole group lessons, small groups learning centers and free choice play based centers as well.
