Help me give my students the ability to have hands-on problem-solving activities such as place value charts, tiles for finding area and perimeter, and pattern blocks.
My students are full of energy and excited to learn. They come with all kinds of stories to tell about life and family. They love to take on a new challenge in science and find joy in the little discoveries.
Third grade is a time where a lot of hands-on experiences are fruitful, and there is so much to experience and learn!
We are excited to focus on learning and build our schema. We can't wait to get started!
My Project
The place value charts, tiles for finding area and perimeter, and pattern blocks will provide experiences with hands-on learning and allow students the ability to problem solve with different learning styles. Kids learn in many ways, and I want to provide my students with the ability to experience every possible mode that will help them to learn to love math.
I am new to my district and would love to fill my classroom with materials we can use on an everyday basis in Math Workshops and labs.
Helping my students to become problem solvers will open more pathways for the future!
