Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

From a school that didn't even have a yearbook, a group of students have come together to make a digital history of the school.

My students are trying to become the next broadcast journalist, both on and off the camera, in the future.

They started just telling the news, and now they are creating movies. We have sent students to several universities studying journalism, and now we are entering into film making. Every part of the process is done by the students.

My Project

Our High School Broadcast Journalism group is branching out into more and more things, and in doing so, we need the equipment that will help us keep our current level of quality when we are not in our studio.

We are making movies, live-streaming, and capturing live performances.

Each of these three styles of capturing video, require a different type of audio collection to make the quality sound great. With the three new "Shot Gun" style mics and stands, we will be able to pick up quality sound when recording live theatre, which we do often. With the new Condenser Microphone we will be able to do Proper ADR for our newly awarded film program.

Everything we do is to make the students learn more that they can use in real world scenarios and building an amazing program that will last long after the current students have left.
