My Students
I teach at a Title I school. More than half of the students are living in a low-income family household. Despite this, these students love to learn.
"I can't do this, yet, but I am going to keep on trying.” This is a quote from one of my students this year.
They love to try new things and not give up.
My students entered my class at various levels in reading and math. They love to work together and help each other at any time during the day. They need hands-on activities to keep them focused. They are very hard workers, and I can't wait to see them grow this year!
My Project
In my class, we work in small groups all day long. We need these resources to enhance our small group centers and help us work together.
Working together is the foundation of a successful life.
In everything these students do, they will need to work together with other people. Having these resources like LEGOS and Magna tiles, the students will learn how to work together to build things. Getting this skill down early in life, will ensure that the students will be able to do it as they get older.
Having the headphones and CD player, will help with their listening comprehension. Students can put CDs in and follow along in their book. After listening to the story, they will be able to fill out a listening comprehension paper.
