The tablets will be added to our classroom to integrate technology during reading and math. Students will be able to read books at their level and have books read to them. My class will also be able to share these tablets during math centers with the math applications I have found on them. They will be able to practice the skills they are learning in a more fun way. The headphones will be a perfect way for a student to find a comfortable spot in the classroom and read a story on a tablet. The book bags will go home with the students every night. I will send books home with each student to ensure they each have a book to read. Most of my students do not have books at home or at their reading level. First Grade is an important year for reading so it is important for each student to have books at home. The books I send them home with will be at their level for them to read successfully.
